PENDEKATAN KETELADANAN PERSPEKTIF PENDIDIKAN ISLAM DALAM MENINGKATKAN KUALITAS AKHLAK SISWA KELAS I MI AL HUDA TULUNG BALAK LAMPUNG TIMUR

Abstract

This study aims to describe and find 1) the importance of exemplary used as an approach to
Islamic education; 2) Implementing the exemplary approach applied by the teacher in
improving the moral quality of grade I students; 3) the results of the implementation of the
exemplary approach applied by the teacher in improving the moral quality of class I students.
This research is a type of field research in class I MI Al-Huda Tulung Balak, East Lampung.
This research was conducted from March to April 2022. The method of data collection in this
study used the methods of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis
technique is done by data reduction. The conclusion that can be drawn is that the exemplary
approach (uswah hasanah) in the perspective of Islamic education is the most convincing
influential method for success in the formation of students' ethical, moral, spiritual, and social
ethos aspects. The step of implementing the example applied by the class I teach is carried out
in four stages, namely 1) Improve yourself first; 2) Cultivate good habits; 3) Incorporate
religious values in the learning process; 4) Monitor children's behavior while at home by
working with parents. As the result of the implementation of the exemplary approach applied
by the teacher in improving the moral quality of students at MI Al Huda Tulung Balak East
Lampung, students have been able to model and apply what has been exemplified by their
teacher. Students can follow the example applied by the teacher well without the need for
continuous commands from the teacher
